Hood Boy Entertainment EPK

Hood Boy Entertainment is a Northeast Texas independent record label founded in the spring of 2006 by Thomas Hood aka Big Hood (Dj Hood). After being inspired by the talent of his brothers, a childhood friend and other local talents, Thomas built a music recording studio in Sulphur Springs, TX. Within a few months of being founded the label started recruiting talent. Over the years Hood Boy Entertainment has compiled a roster full of some of the East's best underground stars. The roster includes artists Ya Boy Hood, K.I., T-Hood, Yung Polo, Big Hood (Dj Hood) and Lil SAY. Hood Boy Entertainment has released several Mixtapes and one official album since 2006. The Label also has three official music videos In The Zone, Workin Wit A Monsta, and Young and Hungry all released within 9 months; from April of 2010 to January 2011. Hood Boy Entertainment has a very unique style of music, talent, vision, and youth.

HOOD BOYS is a group consisting of Big Hood aka Dj Hood, Ya Boy Hood, K.I., T-Hood, Yung Polo, and Lil SAY. The Hood Boys exploded on the East Texas music scene summer of 2006. That summer the Hood Boys released the mixtape “2 Throwed Brothers" and began promoting in their hometown of Sulphur Springs, TX. The “2 Throwed Brothers" mixtape was well received. By 2009 The Hood Boys and their music were known all over the region along with the hood boy party anthem “In the Zone”. Off The success of the song “In the Zone” the Hood Boys began hosting and promoting events in Sulphur Springs where they helped take the East Texas music game to another level when they dropped an official music video to their hit “In the Zone” April 2010. Some groups have a hard time following up a hit but not the Hood Boys October of 2010 they released another single, “Workin Wit A Monsta” along with another official video. “Workin Wit A Monsta” helped the group continue to grow their fan base in North-East Texas. IN 2011 the group launched their very own website hoodboyent.com that to date has been visited over 150,000 times. Hood Boys spent 2013 working with Dallas Fort-Worth promoters performing at several promotional show growing their fan base in the metroplex some 80 plus miles away from their North-East Texas fan base. Starting in December 2013 Hood Boys resumed hosting and promoting their own events in Sulphur Springs, Tx where they booked some of the top Texas artist such as Lil Ronny, Beat King, Big Tuck, and Yung Nation. Mixtape after mixtape and event after Hood Boys keep challenging themselves to improve and deliver quality music, videos, merchandise, and promotion. Current the group is preparing to release their second official album “In The Zone”. Hood Boys are great ambassadors of the 903 area code music scene. All music lovers should stay tuned to their movement as the group prepares to expand to international stardom. I have a feeling there will be a lot more to come from this superstar group.
